2012 Bend Paddleboard Challenge.  A WPA Stand Up Paddle Board race on the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon.  Racing from Riverbend community park through the Old Mill District.  A 5 mile long course, a 1.5 Mile short course and new this year 400 Meter elimination sprints.  On friday June 15 from 3 - 6 pm some of the leading manufacturers in the sport will be offering free demos of the their latest SUP gear. 

This is a two day celebration of the sport of Stand Up Paddling and highlights the commitment from the community of paddlers for two important causes.  Again this year we are benefitting the Bend Paddle Trail Alliance and their efforts to create awareness and raise funds for the future whitewater park here in Bend.  The event will also benefit the Bend Metro Parks and Rec Scholarship Fund.  All the proceeds from this event go to those organizations.

This year we are part of the Subaru Outside Games, a week long festival of sporting events, charity fundraisers, a film festival and concerts that highlight the outdoor lifestyle in Bend, Oregon.
